This
First Day Cover commemorates the reformation of No. 216 Squadron RAF-1 November, 1984. The image by aviation artist John Young, depicts D.H.10 of No. 216 Sqdn. returning to base-Heliopolis, 1923.
This envelope was flown in Tristar-500 Flight 3745 of No. 216 Squadron on the Squadron's inaugural trooping flight from RAF Brize Norton to Hanover, then on the return flight to RAF Brize Norton.
